“A Matter Of Time” is a 14 song album which was released in 2024. Laufey is one of the most popular modern jazz artists. She has been releasing music since 2020. “A Matter Of Time” is her most recent album and in my opinion one of the best and her best albums of all time. She has a sound of pop and indie in her music other than jazz. She can have emotional songs like “Too Little, Too Late” or “Snow White” to a more pop
sounding song like “Lover Girl”. She has very relatable music which I think is great. Another thing about her is that she doesn’t often have any bad songs, they are all very likeable and even if you don’t like it, most often it will grow on you. The music in this album is very catchy no matter what it is about, whether it is sad or happy it is always something that is worth listening to. I wasn’t able to go to her concert but I heard clips from online of this album and just any of her music sounded amazing live. Sometimes there are songs that aren’t as good live, but I think almost all of her songs sound amazing live. She has an amazing voice, it’s loud, it carries, it’s also soft in a way that the loud isn’t harsh. – Lorelai Lewis
